Teofimo Lopez made his debut at 140 pounds a successful one by dominating
and stopping Pedro Campa in the seventh round in front of 3,553 fans at Resorts World Las Vegas.
Lopez returned to action for the first time since November 2021 when
he dropped the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and The Ring titles to George Kambosos
Jr. The loss didn't come without controversy as Lopez dealt with health issues due
to a battle with COVID and promised to come back stronger upon his return.
Round 1: Lopez 10-9 Lopez connects with a nice left uppercut. Campa backs Lopez against the ropes and hits a nice combo.
Round 2: 10-9, 20-18 Campa comes out trying to get back into this on and bring the aggression. He walks down Lopez to the ropes, and Lopez answers with a great combo against the ropes that connects.
