The Queen’s son Prince Charles is with her at Balmoral and Her grandson Prince William is on his way to see her.

The news broke while new Prime Minister Liz Truss was delivering her plan for dealing with the energy crisis in Parliament 

"It was a match for the ages," Todd Woodbridge said on the Nine Network's coverage. "It was only a quarterfinal, it deserved a final."

Truss tweeted saying: “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime. 

 My thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.”

Starmer said:  “Along with the rest of the country, I am deeply worried by the news from Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
